late-90s to early-00s Earth, but with a distinct undercurrent of magic visible to some and felt by all.
intended as a Monster of the Week tabletop setting.

slowly being revamped - a lot of the characters here are quite old or just generally need some TLC.

this is a large setting, see locations:

Coldglen

monster town hidden in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. has pretty strict rules, but it's nice and safe.

...or it was, anyway.

Butcher's Rest
mundane town about fifteen miles as-the-crow-flies from Coldglen. has a high demon and shapeshifter population, which is kept in check by large-scale magical wards.

Around Deepwater
the area in and around a lakefront human town that's a bit of a paranormal hotspot.

Prince Stolas' Kingdom

the "kingdom" of a demon who's collected a bunch of thralls, supposedly in the style of old-school demon pacts, but mostly just ineptly. (he doesn't understand that princes aren't the leaders of kingdoms.)

Monstrocity
oceanfront city inhabited by only monsters and with a large population of kaiju just off-shore.

Nowhere
nonexistant desert, untouched by the normal flow of time.
